Check to see if the ground on the left side of the transmission is coming loose (not the eyelet but the wire itself) through the wheel well

SOURCE: 2006 Chrysler Pacifica Auotmatic Liftgate

Yes new gas shocks on the lift gate will fix your problem. I had the same problem on my 2005 Pacifica and when it hit my head- I came up with the solution.

Good Luck,
Ray

SOURCE: How do I adjust the headlights to see further down

The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.

You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam (separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal adjustment screws as well

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

For Low Beams: If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.

For High Beams (if separate from low beams): Aim the headlight directly at the line you marked on the wall.

SOURCE: My 07 Chrysler 300c Oil light comes on,

The warrenty should cover this problem. The oil pressure is a very important part of the powertrain.
As for the engine cutoff, this may be caused by the
powertrain control module shutting down the engine
due to little or no oil pressure to prevent serious
damage. This could be as simple as a bad oil pressure sending unit. But it could also be the oil
pump. In any case I would talk to the crysler dealer
to avoid voiding the warrenty. Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Driving my 05 Pacifica down the road for 3 miles and the exhaust will turn cherry red and will lose power

Then you ruined the exhaust converters &
oxygen sensors, because you have a timing
problem or rich fuel condition or both

That is going to be a very expensive repair,
once the main issue is found

We have an 05 Pacifica Touring. No engine problems yet.(read a previous post, all Pacificas eventually burn oil) However we have a whining sound coming from the rear. go slow(5mph), no sound, as you...

have you looked at the tires- if they are wore down the wear bars-little bands of rubber that cross the grooves in tread will be exposed and the noise is your warning to get new tires soon

Universal garage opener

The solution is in the owners manual. If you want to program the "homelink transmitter" in your car,you will need a remote unit for your garage door opener to do this.It is fairly easy and straightforward.I programmed my 07 Pac and it works great.Good luck!
