Why won't my left headlight of my 2008 honda accord turn off? Lights are switched to the off position, only thing that turns it off is disconnecting the battery.

Sounds like a bad headlight relay. The relay should be near the headlight or near the battery, sometimes they are on the firewall.
Hope this helps.

1996 honda accord highbeams not working

check the light switch on the stalk. Also check the relay it will be under the bonnet . Voltage should be supplied t0 the relay when light switch turned on and then relay should click on and voltage 12 v should be switched to the headlight from the switched relay contacts. Suspect worn light switch . You could run a wire from 12v to contact on relay that powers the coil on the relay to prove if relay works and switch is cause of your problem

My head lights don t work. they were working fine, I simply pulled in the driveway, on the level twisted to shut them off, and attempted to put the lights on again, and now head lights. High beams work...

There are several things involved here. The combination switch (headlight, dimmer, turn signal switch), The headlamp relay and the dimmer relay. It could be a bad switch or a stuck relay.

Headlights work, but not Instrument panel, daytime RL....

If the parking lights do not come on, they do have their own fuse, and it could be bad. This is separate from the brake lights.

But if the fuses are all good, then it could be the headlight switch. Remember the switch does the parking lights separate from the main headlights, so that you can just turn on the parking lights if you want, (Paris style). It is a feature left over from WWII, when Europeans were not allowed to run with full headlights at night, in the cities.

I have a 1993 Honda Accord and the head lights won't turn on. I have changed the fuze and added new bulbs. what else can it be.

do you have low or high beams?

LOW BEAMS: When headlight switch is turned on the headlight relay is energized providing voltage through fuse 37 and 38 to the headlights and the low beams come on.

HIGH BEAMS : same thing as above thru fuses 37 & 38. When the dimmer is in high, the dimmer relay provides ground to the high beams, and the high beams come on.

1. pull your flash see if lights come on?
2. check fuse 15 if good
3. check fuses 37 & 38.

Tail lights and dash lights not working, due to headlight install

I have the same problem in an 88 Accord. I found that if I slowly turn the light switch, there is a sweet spot in between the the parking light and headlight on position (around halfway in between or so.) where all will work. The problem is , when I might a right turn signal, it turns the dash and brake lights out again and I have to refind that sweet spot. Not very safe, so we don't drive that car at night.
I was told by a mechanic that the issue is a relay or switching mechanism located in the steering column.

1991 honda accord ex headlight problems

Hello, firstly I was wondering if the lights shut off when you pull the switch off the harness?
If YES, then THAT switch or wiring could be bad
if NO, then it's most likely the body control module
