That could be transmission issue/ front end issue/ with out driving the vehicle hard to say.
my 88 had overdrive shudder going up hill transmission need a rebuild. that all i got with out driving the veh srry.
when trying to figure out what going on with the veh you need to isolate the cause of the vibration , front. rear of the veh.put the veh on jack stand and drive it see if you can figure were that vibration is comeing from

Serious vibration when accelerating or holding speed; smooth when coasting

Hello,

If problem only occurs 'under power' sounds like a u-joint (driveline - rear wheel drive) or a cv-axle (front wheel drive). Check for excessive play, fluid, boot tear and breakage.

Car vibrates while accelerating, when coasting no vibration

I had a similar issue, turns out it was the drive shaft being a little loose, get it put on a lift and see if you have any play either from transmission or coupling areas.

Hi,
Seems u have a problem on ignition during high speed! Better go to ur favorite garage and have ur ignition tune up( timing, spark plugs, air cleaner, fuel filter ).
Check those parts!

I have 2003 Dodge Durango and when I accelerate above 40mph there is a vibration. When I remove foot from gas the vibration stops. Can coast at speeds with no vibration.

How many miles on your Durango? This could be a failing U joint on either driveshaft. Could also be a ties out of balance or going bad.

Since the vibration goes away when coasting, I am voting for a driveline issue.

I would suggest having your universal joints checked out , sounds like a bad joint or bearing somewhere in the rear end, if you can get your speed up to about 50, put your rav in neutral and let it coast if it stops vibrating, it most likely is your problem
