vin numbers chould be located either on the door jam, or under the hood. You could save time by calling the dealer and they will let you know where to look as well.
Vin number may be found on driver side, on door, could be on door frame , driver side on dash, extreme left.under hood, driver side just over firewall.
The VIN should only ever be replaced by the same number it came out of the factory with. Check the VIN, it is in multiple locations.
1. check on the CR label on the driverside door opening
2. on us cars only, hatch door, each door, hood all have a VIN sticker for thief prevention.
The factory vin is embossed on a black metal plate.

You can view it from outside of the van on the drivers side. Look below the registration / inspection stickers.
YES, THE VIN NUMBER IS NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE WINDSHIELD ON THE DRIVERS' SIDE. IT CAN BE SEEN FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE CAR. ANOTHER LOCATION IS ON THE DRIVERS' DOOR BY THE DOOR CATCH OR STRIKE PLATE. OK NOW FOR THE ENGINE NUMBER, LOOK UNDER THE HOOD FOR A WHITE STICKER. ON THIS STICKER TOWARDS THE BOTTOM IS THE ENGINE INFORMATION. GOOD LUCK
