What do SRS fault codes 92C1 and 9600 means on a Mercedes S550?

Sometimes they are just on, and sometimes the SRS will flash. Connect to a pro grade scan tool computer and look for the diagnostic trouble codes associated with the fault status.

run the fault codes to find the reason for the fault

as far as i am aware you will have to take to a dealer or some where that has the equipment to turn it off its not really a diy job if any light come on there is a problem with that system abs srs lights all need resetting

same with my problem .it's mean the eye laser is bad. you can't fix it.i have to go to the ebay buy the use one for $800 dollars. mercedes s550 tech such...too many problem. my is 65.000 mile i already replace lower arms control on 2 side A/C blower fan 2 struts suspension. now is the font lelf window not working. my god. i think the old toyota corola the tech is better then. (S550)

If the light is on it means you have a current fault and will need a repair if it was a temporary fault the light would go off and the fault would be stored in the computor, It needs plugging in to OBD computor most likely you have a faulty seat belt clip

You need a on board diagnostic scanner plugged in to locate fault
SRS is safety restraint system, fault is usually seat belt sensor
A good local auto electrician will locate the problem
Main dealer will cost a lot of money

Hello, In my experience with these cars, anytime you get a control module code, the control module is bad.
