Nissan Navara NP300. What is the problem of black smoke on an NP300 please?

Question edited for clarity, full make and model
Question moved to model category.

Smoke comes in three colours

White smoke = Steam (normally from fuel burning)
Blue smoke = Oil
Black smoke = Rich Mixture

It needs fixing because apart from using far too much fuel it soots up plugs and blocks the catalytic converter.

Oil capacity of a 2.5 tdi nissan np300

During regular service of NP300 takes 4.3 liters of engine oil. Nissan NP300 really needs high quality motor oil. Lots of Nissan vehicles produced in 2009 had 2.5 motor under the hood. Having model code YD25DDTi this engine should be filled up with Synthetic 5w30 type of oil. Choosing normal Synthetic 5w30 oil for NP300 2.5 engine you ensure its long lasting work.

This is the same info for your 08 model. Please make sure to use 5w~30 full synthetic. Mobil 1 or Castrol.

I have nissan np300 zd30 engine its nt supplying fuel t e engine,have t prime harder for it to starter n after starting,if l stop priming t wl cut off.what cld b e problem

?? depending on year ,,,it could have a lift fuel pump in the tank to prime it up for starting ,providing its a conventional injector pump which having a hand primer i would assume it has ,need more info really but do check the fuel lines on the top of the fuel tank as they could be perished so its sucking in air ...or the lift pump inside the injector pump has failed ,really need to see it to know the problem .
