There is a way to do this its but its a little tricky if your saying what I think your are saying.
Do you have a keyless entry system and can you open the rear hatch the glass part.
There is a manual override. Give more details and I will explain how to open it

I am not familiar with this model but have experienced a similar nightmare on a very model. I suspect that the child safety locks are set which is stopping you opening the doors from the inside and the outside handles are not working because the latches may have been set in the locked position.

What you do is open door and remove the door insert, undo every screw and then with a screw driver take care not to scratch the paint work, so wrap the end of the screwdriver. Up with the hanky ( the blade end) then gently prise open gently the insert , then once you have taken the insert off , remove the plastic only around where the door handle should be, you then reach in and feel for the door handle and around it you should feel a couple of nuts , they should be either a 8mm or 10mm spanner, undo the nuts and when you take out the nuts. Then from the outside wriggle the door handle until it half comes out and then disconnect all the rods that go to your inner door handle and the rod to your door handle!!. To replace it is reverse of what you just done but with the new handle
Open the window and reach out to open the door with the outside door handle, before closing the door and locking it, remember to put the window back up.
As for the trunk it should have a emergency release trunk handle from the inside.
there is a bar that goes from handle to lock, sounds like its come off. just remove door panel and refit. when you refit it put a cable tie on it to stop it from coming off in the future. hope this helps
are out side door handles when you push on them do they work or do they feel like nothing there very common does it have rust around handles or are they seized?
lock rods inside the door need to be attached and with exterior door handle broken, it will need to be replaced first. so the assembly will be complete
You will have to open it from the inside-Yes, I have done it and it takes about 15 min. or so.-I have also posted about 40 images, after I opened the door-In an effort to contribute a little to all the lost souls with the Curse of the F150 3rd Door issue. Hope this helps-BTW I just did this on 12/04/2011-found my particular issue-I will need a new cable, so I'll have to go to the dealer tomorrow and buy one. Also included images of the tools needed-Good Luck! Link to the images are here>>>http://s289.photobucket.com/albums/ll220/techdispatch/F150%203rd%20door%20curse/?start=all
