Ignition modules have two sections -- one for low rpms, one for high. Could also be clogged air filter, converter, muffler, low fuel pressure, speed sensor.
YOU MIGHT TRY TO CHECK THE TEMP SENSOR, CHECK FOR THE LOCATION. sINCE IT IS NOT BOILING OVER THEN ONE OF THE SUGESTIONS IS ELECTRICAL LIKE A SENSOR. Also look at the repair mmanual for location of that sensor and others.
Take a good look at the connectors, there is a tab in the middle of the connector that must be push down and held while you wiggle and pull connector out. sometimes it is hard to see or get to but it is there,

My NIssan Primera P11 is sluggish after starting it - it takes a long time before it gets off. This happens when I have parked it for few hours before I start it.
