SOURCE: 1992 jeep wrangler with faulty acceleration. It

It is possibly the O2 sensor. I had some issues with early 90's 4.0 liters where the O2 sensor would stick rich under heavy acceleration and would cause it to lean out and bog down. It felt like a rochester four barrel flat spot on an old chevy. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: How do I change the freon from R-12 to R-134A on a

no parts need to be changed the original expansion valve will work fine but the receiver dryer should be replaced and the system flushed with AC system flush and compressed air (condensor and evaporator), then the system must be evacuated with an AC vacuum pump for at least 15 minutes, the main thing to remember is that it requires only 85% as much R134 as R12 when you recharge the system, the conversion kits are avail any good auto parts store for about $35, u will need three cans of R134, charge the system until the low side port reading is around 28-32 PSI, at that point the system is full..

How do you adjust the values on my jeep wrangler 4.0 6cyl

as they are hydulic you should not have to adjust them,if they are rattling,it's usually due to poor oil change history, try engine flush and you may have to remove sump afterwoods if the gunk blocks up the oil pickup, filters block and unfiltered oil then circulates throughout engine and makes lifters noisy,to check hyd lifters you need a "bleed down bar"to compress lifter and measure gap between rocker and valve,if it does have adjustable rockers then it's done with engine idleing with rocker cover off ,back off nut till it rattles, thentighen it down till it stops and then 1/4 more turn

After replacing all lifters, push rods, and rocker assembly, engine still ticks near #3 cyl.

Need to adjust #3 valves. They are still a little loose sounds to me.

I have a 100k on my 1992 wrangler i have a little lifter noise

If you have an inline 6, 100K is nothing! Lifter noise can be due to low oil pressure. if pressure is good, it can be from cam wear, lifter being sticky inside, or a rocker pivot being a little worn. Most just get a bit sticky (internal hydraulic plunger inside a lifter or two). To fix that I generally change the oil to a good synthetic, add lucas additive or marvel oil and just give it some time to dissolve the gunk. It took time to get that way so don't expect the tapping to go away instantly...Most times it will begin to lessen in a day or two or up to a few weeks.

1992 jeep wrangler - problem - gas leaks/gas line area

No such thing as can't!!! If you need to, examine every inch of the fuel system till you find it. Do you see gas on the ground? If you just smell fuel check your evap canister & valves it may be loaded up with fuel.

1992 Jeep Wrangler 2.5L engine maintenance light needs resetting

It's a module under dash programmed to turn on Maintenance light. You can pay $80 to replace module or pull wire going to module and save $80. BTW, it's there to tell you to replace your Oxygen sensor.

92 Jeep Wrangler will not Stay running.

I had the same prblm with my 1989 Jeep, 6 cyl straight, and it was because of the EGR valve, easy to replace and not too costly. EGR valve is screwed on the motor, driver side, and there is a ±1/2" rubber hose attached. Easy to see if device comes apart, cut by rust.
