Take the wiper arm and try to move it if it's easy to move then ....we call it the transmission between wiper arm and motor itself. little teeths are gone wiper arm side or transmission
or transmission arms are disconnected

You have to remove the wiper arms - usually you stand them up and a small tab at base can then be pulled out and blade arm can be pulled up and off. Then remove fasteners to the cowl section that is behind the hood (area that wiper arms come through) and take cowl off. Sometimes you have to get piece started with hood open and then slide off with hood up - you will see. Then look for end of wiper motor and the long arms that go to each wiper. The end usually has a cup and ball system and the cup on wiper arms has probably popped off. Sometimes popping it back on will work for a while (maybe years) especially if it popped off due to wipers being frozen or jammed with heavy snow. But you may have to replace plastic piece that goes in cup. If ball snapped off wiper motor you will need to replace motor. But all of the parts are hidden under that cowl piece. Remember to run wipers and then turn them off and let the motor stop at the "park" position before putting blade arms back on. Some have a slot so arms can not be put on any other way - but many just have grooves so arm can be put on in a million different ways. If a blade goes too far in one direction (like off edge of windshield), or stops still slightly up, (still in your view) then blade not on in right location. Take it back off and move it slightly.

There's a few things that could be wrong. The wiper motor may be turning but the gears inside of the wiper arms may be stripped. This will require replacing the wiper module with the motor and gears together (mechanic would be the best option).
Another possibility is that a nut came loose that holds the wiper motor output to the wiper arms, causing the wipers to not move.

don't have to remove the dash- remove the plastic black cowl just under the wipers. The "pop" you heard is probably the clasp coming off the ball nut connected to the wiper motor. check the mounting plate for damage (usually they're good or need a little bending-needle nose pliers work best). Screw the two nuts back down after you reposition the unit. Turn on wipers to test connection, but make sure wipers are clear before testing. Replace cowl and you're back in business.

no you would have to pull the motor to make sure its working but it sounds like what you may be hearing is like a humming sound where its trying to work but not.

the Kia Sedona is identical to my hyundai entorage minivan, this happen several times to me you have to tighten the nut that secures the wiper assembly to the motor, the shaft gets worn and losens up. you may have to replace the wiper motor.

Likely broke the nylon bushing cap on the left side wiper transmission assembly. Best as I can tell, the cap is not replaceable so replacement of the assembly is required. These are available new AC Delco p/n 19120840 about $75, or on ebay used for about $35. ACDelco 19120840 Windshield Washer Transmission Kit. Goold luck, mine's broke too!
