Which EVAP solenoid , vent or purge ? The purge is under the hood on the engine an the vent is under the vehicle near the EVAP charcoal canister an the fuel tank.
My 01 Chevy venture just got a new fuel pump put in gas gauge still isn't working proper so had another fuel pump put in same problem. My relay fuse is good fuel pump fuse is good. I have to have my wires checked, make sure my sensor on top of pump connector wires are good. What else can I be looking for?
Well it could be several differant things .It depends on how it stalls .If it just cuts off in an instant meaning its running good one second and the next it stops running completly then its likely an electrical problem . But if it starts sputtering and looseing power then stalls its more likely a fuel related problem witch is more likely .My best guess would be a colged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump .If you arn't getting engine lights comeing on or even if you are and then they go out by it self the fuel filter is the first thing to look at and its the easyest and cheapest thing to do .The filter on your vehicle will be located under the drivers door and mounted to the inside of the frame rail .On a 99 if its never been changed its time it should be changed every 4 to 5 years . I can't say for sure but it sounds like the most likely problem and it can't hurt it costs about 10 dollars .See if it helps good luck
easy to change u just need a special tool for removed on front of motor at right of oil filter its look like a coolant sensor or a little bottle with a connetor removed the connector and take the tool to remove
