The gas engine does not have a replaceable fuel filter. There is an inlet strainer on the bottom of the fuel pump in the tank, and there is a filter/regulator unit that is built into the pump
The Liberty doesn't have an in-line fuel filter, it is part of the fuel pressure regulator on the top of the fuel tank and is not serviced unless the fuel press regulator is defective and being replaced.
The fuel filter is part of the fuel ppm module. It gets replaced when the fuel pump gets replaced.
It is not considered a "serviceable" filter.

I cannot seem to find a part number for this vehicle's fuel filter. It is probably a non-serviceable part (N/S) that is inaccessible; usually inside the fuel tank.
This year and model does not have a stand alone in-line filter, the filter is on the suction side of the fuel pump inside the fuel tank and under normal conditions is only replaced when the pump is replaced (comes with the new pump). This true of all late meodel Chyrsler Products.
It sounds like a fuel issue. Possibly a bad fuel filter or fuel pump. I would start by replacing the filter as it is a much cheaper fix. I hope this helps.
