I think you have the same card as i do, this car do not have spark plug that you can replace without a few hours. you have fuel injection system, when you have to change the plug you have to change all 6 plugs, i think at a shop 1.5 - 2.5 hours labor. you cannot change one plug wire they come in a set of 4 or 6, now i have found you have 3 types of gas, high octane, average octane, low octane, my wife and i played around with all, our vehicle likes the average octane the best, when you use the cheap gas you get poor mileage and sluggish, and knocking sounds, when you notice poor gas mileage you need to spend a little money that will help you get better mileage, we have V-6, we get 20-23 miles to the gallon, before we bought this car we had 4door accent 4 cylinder and it only got 20-21 miles to the gallon.

when you see a drop in mileage you need to buy this item and nothing cheap: GUMOUT regane compete fuel system cleaner.
next time you fill the tank put some in before you put the gas in so that it will mix with the gas while. you will have to do it every other tank fill.

the warranty if you bout new 10 years or 100,000 mile what every comes first.
if you bought used than the warranty 50,000 miles and 5 years what every come first.
i think the computer module control fuel and the best way to do anything is let the dealer work on it the will test it dynastic is 70.00
at most dealer, and they will not do any work until that is done, i bought my car from chevy dealer, i tried taking it to them and they told me to go to the dealer.
and if it is under warranty still it should not cost any thing. you have really nothing to loose and i have had really good luck with my dealer
good luck rod
Misfire is caused by spark plugs, coil packs (if you have them), possibly wiring issues.
Don't you have long, long warranty on that car?

Sounds like it needs spark plugs and wires, and a fuel system treatment.

Yes there is a sensor that controls Fuel/air ratio. It's called a MAF (mass air flow sensor)
But I think you should have the EGR (Exhaust gas recirculation)valve checked
and The TPS (throttle position sensor)maybe dirty.
Although may things can cause this issue,I would look at the items above first.
Please rate this a blue fixya

well spend some change and have a simple tune-up. Plugs and filters and readjust the idle.

Have you made sure your getting spark on every cylinder from the coil pack?
SOURCE: 2002 kia sedona 3.5l has rough idle replaced plugs wires and coil
this vehicle has coil packs for the ignition correct? have you ran the engine at night with all surrounding lights outs so its really dark. spray a mist of water on the coil packs and spark plug wires to see if you have spark/voltage leaks jumping out from them. sometimes the tiny sparks will be so fine and skinny you can barely see them so it needs to be dark. hope this helps your trouble shooting. a coil pack could have such a fine crack for the voltage to leak from that you cant see it.
