Water went in relays,computer mane it thats a desaster try drying as mush part as you can saw that hapen too many time everybody ask me clean my engine its dirty i always tell them so what its dirty and after i tell the story about the with a town car

When you get any dash light that stays on after the engine starts,
you should be checking for codes that day, to find out what system
has a failure or fault,forget what's common & get the codes & diagnose them

There should not be any vehicles with a check engine light on & that vehicle being used a week later. Within a week all repairs need to be done, or you chance ruining the vehicle

bank one is always the side of the engine where number 1 cylinder is. Right Front (passenger side)

I strongly suggest that you have the car diagnosed. If the check engine light is on there must be a faulty sensor somewhere and having it scanned will show the fault code. By then we'll know what sensor should be replaced.

you should always change the filter when changing the transmission fluid, and a gasket is a good idea too.

Get a trouble code when the light is on, that will be a start.

You have another code other then EVAP, have it scan to get codes.

get it scanned they dont just stay on unless there is some problem

autozone has a fre check they they can run on your car. They will givbe you a code, that code will then tell us what is throwing that check engine light.
