On the Isuzu they run the plug from the seat through the carpet to the frame to the fuel pump. my guess is they didn't plug it back in. look under the truck and find the wire that connects to the fuel pump. follow the wire to the frame and towards the front of the truck. if you see any issues or the plug is not connected then figure out how to get it plugged back together. the other issue is they connected the plug but damage the connectors or its not connected fully. I hope this fixes your problem.
Check for a broken ground wire around the fuel pump. Or somehow you may have tripped the inertia switch under the hood on the side of the shock tower.

SOURCE: how to replace timing belt in 2001 santa fe. What
That depends on if the front motor mount is blocking half of the timing belt . Then you have to have the motor lifted out to change the timing belt . Now that just added at least another 2 hours to the labour hours. In all honesty, now you are looking at a 4 to 6 hours of total work . Now , do you know if it is a timing belt or a timing chain. Timing belt, yes will take about 4 to 6 hours , but a timing chain will take over 8 hours because it is inside the motor.

change the batteries then start the car and close it and press the key it should work
The purge valve is under the car by the driveshaft and looks like this
I do not have specific instructions for replacing these parts, but I think the temperature sensor unscrews. You may want to use a little teflon tape on the new sensor to seal the threads. For the purge sensor, remove the vapor hoses and unclamp it from the bracket. For each sensor, the connector will have a tab you have to press to get the connector off of the part. Let me know if you get stuck or have more questions.
