Are the main stop lights and the 3rd deck stop light on the same fuse?

If the radio has an inline fuse, it will be within 82 of the plug at the rear. They are built into the harness. Unlikely because there are three fuses covering audio.

sure the brake light switch itself is bad, there are provisions for the main and 3rd lights on most switches

have you checked the brake fluid level? what is the label for fuse #6???

check all the fuses and relays out first.
the abs and traction control are related because the computer reads the wheel speed from the abs sensors.it uses that output to control braking to slow the wheel down.
did you have any service done or an aftermarket stereo installed?
alot of issues arise from damaged wiring improperly routed or pinched in body panels or trim pieces.
the speedometer is fed data from the output shaft of the transmission.
just hope the main ecu or the powertrain module is not blown,they are very expensive.

I received your 3rd brake light flash controller-fully adjustable ez fit kit. installed on my 2002 gmc sierra, power coming into box, good ground and unit is not working. third brake light works good with kit removed. any help would be appreciated. thank you for your time.

check the fuse for the stoplights. Even though the 3rd one is working it should be on a different fuse. With both of them not working even after you changed the bulb it would seem to lead to a fuse.
