This sounds like a fuel delivery problem to me, in other words the fuel is not getting to the fuel rail under the correct pressure, the fact that the car runs is a good sign the problem isn't too serious, you'll have to have the fuel delivery pressure checked that takes specialty tools and requires a TECH that has them, you'll have to pick that person, good luck on the repairman, ask around in your area and check with people who drive the same car as you that definitely helps

Sounds like a clogged intake to me. TDI's like to be driven hard - if you don't wind out your gears on a regular basis the intake can get clogged - causing serious loss of power. You may also have a bad MAF (air flow sensor) but I'd put my money on a clogged intake.
If you drive a TDI you should definitely go to www.tdiclub.com

the turbo has no effect on blower motor performance. you may have a bad turbo but you may also have a bad blower motor or a low freon level on the a/c system.

I have a Jetta TDI 1993 Model and I have a problem, while driving the I get no response from the accelerator pedal, the car seems to idle but there is no accelerating power. If turn the engine off and on...

Go back to that VW dealer and complain. I'm sure you payed plenty, and I know in my shop, if a customer's car is not repaired to their satisfaction, I want to know, and make it right. Sometimes parts can be bad right out of the box, and sometimes problems are misdiagnosed. Go back, but don't agree to pay for anything untill you get a satisfactory explanation. Good luck.

While driving my 2003 Jetta TDI last night accelerating up a hill my battery light came on and the car died. All other lights work, glow plug light still comes on. Engine turns over but does not fire. ...

Did you check the battery? Alternator? The 2003 Jetta TDI's are FAMOUS for breaking the alternator pulley right off the shaft. Is your serpentine belt hanging?
You could have a bad battery, broken alternator, broken serpentine belt, or bad alternator among a few other things. If your belt is hanging either the belt broke or more commonly, the alternator puller broke off the shaft.
It happens all the time with the 2003's

EPC means Electronic Pedal Control. Fly-by-wire for your gas pedal--instead of a mechanical cable that pulls an accelerator linkage on the engine, there's an electronic device on the gas pedal, an electronic device on the throttle body and a wire between them.
You should check the sistem with diagnostic tool.

Momentarily Sluggish Acceleration

Are you loosing power to the ecu when the car is shut down? most cars with an ECU that controls timing, fuel, or boost can be forced to relearn the car if the ECU looses power (called a "limp" mode). I'd look into this. Also are you getting any check engine lights? considering the description of the problem, this would help to diagnose. Try getting the car started and running normally, then turn the car off but do not kill the power to the car, just stop the motor from running...Fire the engine back up and try to give the car a good stomp on the gas and see if you get the same sluggish problems...my 2 cents... Good luck future auto DIY's

Accelerator Loss

From my experience in owning a VW it souns electrical. Most issues with VWs are electrical related. Most likely a realy of some type. Could also be fuel injection but that is electronic too.

1.8 turbo in (2003 jetta wagon) accelerating problem

When you open the hood of the the car have a buddy accelerate in park and listen for a vacuum leak this is the likely cause it sounds lik your loosing boos pressure. Also, get a tune up there maybe a list of problems. Hopefully it's not your transmission!
