2003 Saturn ION What is the trac for and when activated, why doesn't it allow the car to go forward. When going up a icy hill, it will not allow me to go forward.

Sounds like a weak fuel pump but i could be wrong in this case as this vehicle is known as a astra or vectra and the computer is bolted to the engine ,this causes no end of problems as the heat with time affects the electrical component values ?? causing problems like this ,best advice i can offer is to call the dealer

First of all your service light came on so give it a service then have the service light reset then check the thermastac, water levels and the choke is working properly and all the elecric working parts are good

Not a fuse problem

Check to make sure the button on the trunk latch is turned from manual unlock...they made that feature so only the key will work to open the trunk that way if someone breaks in the front of your car they can't hit the trunk release and get into the trunk...may be the same thing for your remote. It will be attached to the frame recessed into a nook on the drivers side just forward of the gas tank.

The fix for this problem is well known, so is the cause. GM needs to step up in my opinion. You can fix it yourself if you're willing
