Theis is not just a US site. It is international!
If you don't understand the question, I suggest you don't try to answer it, if you don't want to advertise your ignorance. For your information, '2004 plate' refers to the year of 1st registration of the vehicle, as determined from the number plate in European countries. You seem to have not read the question prooerly either, because no, she does not mean the 'HVAC is dead', and for three reasons. First, because on this side of the Atlantic, at least in the UK, most cars don't need air conditioning, because it is (a) not hot enough, and (b) it guzzles fuel. Second, because she has specifically stated the heater fuse has been changed but still not blowing. Meaning the HEATER BLOWER FAN IS NOT WORKING! GET IT? That is nothing to do with whether hot air is available or not.
Now, back to the Alto, apart from the 30Amp heater fan fuse, the heater motor itself needs checking by applying 12v directly to it. If it spins ok, there is also a blower resistor in the heater box which is may have failed. If none of this solves the problem, post again.

We dont have that car in USA, this is a USA forum, so...
plate heaters what on earth are those. Coffee pot heater? Hot plate?

you meant HVAC heater dead. in all modes>?
and is the blower blowing on high? is it?
that is first.
but first first, is engines must be fully hot or there will be no heat.

I have a suzuki alto 1.1 2005 auto the heater in the car has stopped blowing out hot air only cold now.

welcome to USA< forum the country with ZERO ALTOS,
why ask us??????? (means no books , nor parts)
so go to GENERIC mode just for you.....

sure this is so easy,,,, (laws of physics and heat ex-changers 101)
so the blower works, but no heat
well that takes 2 of 3 things,
1: blows, ok check ok.
2: engine must get hot. ,(not stated, 180f or more is normal) is it.?
3: dampers on the HVAC box must work,

dampers are not easy check on newer cars. old was simple cables.

to fix this, go to your suzuki, and buy the service manual
read that HVAC chapter, on dampers if engine is hot. (normal)
its all there, I PROMISE YOU, but only in YOUR country

here is ours
just for fun,

My 05 Suzuki Altos heater is blowing cold, The pipe going through the bulhead is hot, but the one coming back is not. Any ideas?

There is a valve on the inlet hose that is not fuctioning properly. You should be able to manually open the valve to get heat. The problem with the valve could be the valve itself, or the linkage that operates it. Good Luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!

Fully warmed up; blowing hot and cold; Suzuki XL-7

Its just a vent damper plate not operating, it's like a gate which controls the flow of air,,usually they are operated by vacuum, or cables.
Service center time, unless you are handy with your own repairs.
