Hi my Ford Mondeo mk2 1999 2.5 V6 will not start after changing the battery but the engine does turn over

Question edited for three uses of the word 'booth', changed to 'boot. As it is a Mondeo, I presume you are in the UK?

Look for a button in the glove compartment that is a child lock and stops the boot being opened from inside the vehicle. The fuse box doesn't show fuses or relays for it. Sometimes there is a slide switch on the inner side of the lock.

I have a couple questions
my radio in my
Ford Mondeo Ghia 1998 V6 duratec engine 2.5L won't play anything I checked fuse behind glovebox it was all good is there other fuses I need to check instead of taking every single one out to check them.

My left tail light is letting water in the trunk/boot I have tried to silicone repair it without bonding it to the body but still water is getting in behind the two tail light bolts on the high side of the light and a puddle in the lowest part of the tail light itself any tips tricks or ways to fix without bonding to the body

Duratec ST-220 used in the top of the line Mondeo 3.0 liter V6.

The original Duratec V6 was introduced in Europe in 1993 in the Ford Mondeo (Ford Contour/ Mercury Mystique in NA). Then in 2000 the smaller 4 cyl Mondeo engines also got the Duratec name, as well as others. Check this for 3.0L 6cyl...

hi have you checked the oil pick up pipe in the sump they have a metle gauze type filter at bottom of pipe which can get blocked restricting the amount of oil getting to the top end of the engine regards

Yes it could be an exhaust leak especially if it’s louder when you first start it cold.

I do not have a Ford Escort, but to turn off my service light I either have to use a scan tool or start the engine so many times without the problem before the light shuts itself off.
