1996 Mercedes C220 battery dead for about 2-3 days with temperatures in single digits to 20s. Tried jumping on Day 3, but still will not start, but accepting power from other car. When battery cables attached to other car, battery light on dashboard comes on, window & doors able to work, but engine still does not turn over. What else needs to be done?
I have the same problem with mine in very cold weather if i use it every day its fine leave it a day or so its flat as a anything invest in a good quality battery heavy duty one
If you are sure that the cables are ok, replace the battery. When they lose charge in cold weather that is below freezing, they freeze. The ice ruins them internally.
