Gasoline or exhaust fumes? If exhaust, you have a leak. If gasoline smell, tank may be over full and vent may be clogged.

Could also be a fuel filter or fuel line leak. Very dangerous! Get it up in the air an find the leak.

I have 1994 Chevrolet Caprice and I want to know if anyone can tell me where the passlock/passkey guard system box is?

The Theft Deterrent Module (TDM) is stuffed in the dash on the driver side of the car. It's tucked in pretty well.

When I start my car or it idles I smell gas. What could cause this?

If the engine is running rich, you should have a check engine light on.
If you do, have the computer scanned for trouble codes.
It could be a fuel leak in the line or around the injectors too.

My caprice starts and runs for a while then after about 45 mins of driving it hesitates to pull off and idles up and down. then if i cut it off, i wont start unless it sits for about a hour or so... PLEASE...

Sounds like you need to check your converter. May be trying to stop up. Eventualy you may smell fumes. Take to a muffler shop and have it checked. It's hard to say this is what it is but it's where i would start. You may have got'en some bad gas somewhere. Good Luck to you.

1995 Chevrolet Caprice Classic won't start after

Sounds a lot like an overheated engine. The electric cooling fan should run after turning off the ignition when it is hot if this is like most vehicles and prevents heat buildup in fuel lines.
Try flooring the gas pedal and leave it there while you crank the engine. This will prevent flooding the engine with fuel and give the engine a leaner mix to start.
