Your building to much pressure and that's related to you overheating ,start by checking cooling system ,possible have it flushed out ,your thermostst my be sticking closed causing overheating, also check radiator cap ,if overheating it should blow off into expantion tank, make sure levels are full , some motors have air bleeder screws that remove the air in the cooling system and that will trap air in the cooling system causing overheating.

SOURCE: i need the mercedes benz 1999 clk 430 radio code

AR82.60-P-7502-01A Coding Radio
(MODEL all with CODE (750) Radio Becker Europa 2000 with CODE (751) Radio Becker Grand Prix 2000 with RDS)

  1. If the radio is disconnected from the power supply, it is not operational when re-connected. After switching on the ignition and the radio, the readout CODE appears in the display.
  2. The code number for the radio is advised to you on the enclosed CODE CARD.
  3. To enter the first digit of the code number, you have to continue pressing station button 1 until the correct digit appears in the display. Adopt the same procedure for the second, third and fourth digits.
  4. Once you have entered the correct code number with the station buttons 1, 2, 3, 4 and confirmed the entry with the SEEK button (press down), the readout CODE disappears. The radio can now be operated.
  5. If you enter a wrong code three times, you must wait 15 minutes before making a new entry. In addition, if 9 incorrect entries are made, the radio will then not operate for 24 hours. During this time the radio and the ignition (terminal 15) must remain switched on.
AR82.60-P-7502-01B Coding Radio
(MODEL all with CODE (353) Audio 30 APS with CODE (510a) Radio MB Exquisit with traffic news decoder, with RDS (Becker) with CODE (512a) Radio MB Special with traffic news decoder, with RDS.)

  1. If the radio is disconnected from the power supply, it cannot be operated by simply reconnecting. After switching on the ignition and the radio the word "CODE" appears in the display on the radio.
  2. The code number for the radio is given on the enclosed CODE CARD.
  3. Enter the code number with the station button, e.g. number 1, station button 1. After entering the first number the word "CODE" disappears and the number entered appears followed by 4 dashes. The next character to be entered flashes. After entering all five numbers, the first character starts flashing again. In this state the code number can be written over as frequently as desired. A correction can be made only by entering the complete code number again.
  4. Confirm code number: Press TUNE, AUTO/SEEK or SC button. The radio automatically switches on and indicates the radio station or frequency stored with station button 1.
  5. If an incorrect code number is entered and confirmed, the word "CODE" appears again on the display. If an incorrect code is entered three times the word "WAIT" appears on the display and the radio locks up for approx. 10 min. If the code is entered incorrectly three times again the radio locks up again for 10 min. Three more incorrect entries (a total of 9 incorrect attempts) increase the lock-up time to 60 min. Another three incorrect entries lock up the radio for another 60 min. The waiting time runs only when the radio is switched on.

SOURCE: 1988 Mercedes Benz 300E 3.0L Gasoline F.I. ''Sputtering at Idle

ok..you must have more than one car???? you don't drive the 300 atall im guessing. #1 start car drive up the road and \back to your house. #2 let it idle till problem starts. #3 once it does start with the problem keep it alive with the gas pedal. #4 once your have it safely from dying in higher rpms "rev it" like a kid would, you know like if you were gonna race some one lol. be careful not to over rev or damage engine. you should do this for five minutes no longer than that. #5 let it idle for another 5 minutes. #6 repeat every day until problem with idling decipates. it took mine 3 300e like 3 days of this. if your not going to drive the car once you get the problem out of the way. turn the car on everyday and let it idle for 5 minutes atleast and take it for a short drive once a week. they get lonelly you know lol. later on you can just turn the car on every 2 -3 days and let it idle but still take it on a short drive atleast once a week

SOURCE: mercedes benz B-200.....Fault Code ME-SFI 00F8-008

Guten Tag,
This problem I have encountered many times from experience within mine home country Germany. With this problem there is concern towards the audible warning device (horn) and wheel speed (rotation diameter) as these systems are integrated.
Often this leads to a failure of the P-00 sensor within the exhaust system, this must be replaced followed by adjustment of the giggle-pinz so as not to re-occur of this fault.

The code means that there is a problem with the heater element circuit of the heated oxygen sensor. Water getting inside the heated oxygen sensor connector can caused the heated oxygen sensor fuse to blow, which is a very common problem for this type codes. Before replacing the sensor, check for the condition of the heated oxygen sensor fuse and connectors.

I have an 1985 mercedes benz 300D. In the winter, the car runs about 80 degrees C. Once in a while, the heat quits and I have to slow way down and then speed up to cruising speed and the heat

Hi thanks for asking. The thermostat is doing its job because it is supposed to open at 80c or 176f. If you are not in an extremely cold climate where the engine simply cannot maintain enough heat, then there is most likely going to be a low coolant situation or even a clogged heater core. If the temperature fluctuate wildly, though.. then you should look into the water pump drive system.

The heating inside the car dosent work?

The heating is not working since there is no coolant flowing to the heater core. Open the hood, near the firewall at passenger side, there is an electric valve to control the coolant flowing to the heater core. If this valve is not open due to corrosion inside, then it needs to be replaced. It is easy to identify by looking at hose connecting back to the hose network at the coolant reservoir.

Dip stick barrel

The dipstick tube can leak oil, and massive oil loss will damage the engine, causing it to overheat in the last few minues of its life.
Mostly likely that your heating up problem is low coolant/leaking coolant, a thermostat, clogged radiator, collapsed hose, bad cooling fan clutch, or head gasket.
