My engine management light stays on after resetting clylinder gasket chech ok

If the check engine light or MIL - malfunction indicator light , or service engine soon light is on , it means there is a problem with the engine management system ! an it means it set a DTC - diagnostic trouble code in the PCM / ECM - electronic control module ! A head gasket is a gasket that sits between the engine block and cylinder head in an internal combustion engine. Its purpose is to seal the cylinders. It will still start but it won't run that well and you will damage your engine if you run it with it blown. so check your head gasket again.

check whether you do have a smell of fuel or burnt gasket in the radiator after remove the cap. If so then you have an overheated engine and blown gasket. Or check whether if you have either water in engine oil or vice versa. Having any of the two,surely you have to remove cylinder head for renewing cylinder head gasket etc.

is there any coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant. It sounds like a head or gasket problem. Cooling system & oil system are supposed to be sealed systems. If u have add fluids it must be going somewhere. Leaking, burning etc. Good luck, get it checked out.

Did you have the head machined or checked for warpage?

This is what you need to do, change the plug wires, because if there is a bad wire you would definitely experiences sputter or a stutter, so do the plug wires and at the same time do the spark plugs, this should take care of your problem. if not let me know and i will give you the next step
