My rear view mirror with temp and compass sometimes will not work. It will show all the digital shows up at once and not the temp, but sometimes it works ok. What can I do?

Does the compass work when the temperature goes out? If the compass still works then chances are that the ambient temp sensor is defective. Also, could be wiring to the sensor. If the compass goes out with the temperature then chances are the mirror itself is defective. Cheapest most common problem is the ambient temp sensor. It's behind the grill by the condenser at the front of the vehicle.

My 2003 ford focus speedometer stops working sometimes as does the elecyric odometer- sometimes both at same time. Other gauges work fine. The odometer goes to just dashes in place of the actual mileage...

Usually if both the odometer and speedometer stop working, the problem is the speed sensor on the transmission. You should also have a trouble code in the engine computer.
If one component works but the other does not, the problem is usually the speedometer head in the dash.

Dash Cluster, gas gage doesn't work when fuse keeps blowing 10amp

costs like $100 an hour for automotive electrician. use a curcit breaker (looks like a fuse) its silver put it in wher the blown fuse is. buy a compass. and runn the compass over the wiring . when the compas moves in the direction of wiring its in that area. a short curcit creats a magnetic feild.

2007 jeep compass, 21000 miles, leased vehicle. speedometer and odometer stopped working, auto locks not working, em brake light on, brake is not, abs light on, 4wd light on

leased? take that thing back and dispute that it is not safe to drive. they need to do a complete check up on that vehicle. it could be as little as the the dash malfunctuning, to brake broken and 4wd broken. which idk how that would even be possible. at 21000 miles it may still be under warrenty and there is prob something writen into the lease about problems like this. please go to your dealer
