I change the transmission and it does the same thing

If Drive Selector switch is properly aligned then a shift silonoid might be the problem.

99 Expedition has an electronic shifter on the tranny, so only way i know is take it to a tranny shop, sorry, call junk yards and see what the cost is for the electronic shifter but thinks they wont sell seperate from tranny. good luck, probably a dealer part which is Too Fllipping much for anyuthing from Dealers they are a total rip off shop! True story

They are round "cans" with wires attached. You should have SSA, SSB, SSC, Torque converter and Pressure Control solenoids. They control pressures and have no mechanical linkage.

The air suspension can be a tricky thing to mess with. When we were looking to replace just one of the rear bags it was going to be costly. My husband did some checking around online and found Strutmasters.com.
They offered great products at a great price and we were very pleased with the outcome of the replacement of the non air system. If you are replacing the entire system you are looking at a pretty penny. I would check Strutmasters out before you replace the air on your Expedition.
