AC stops working when cabin temp reaches 109-110

Hi All, I have a 1997 Quattro a6 I live in AZ and for several years have had problems with the AC cutting off and refusing to turn back on. My Several expierments were Morning drive Temp 90 AC Perfect...Non Drive 105Temp AC finestop for lunch came out started the car temp 109-110...Ac started and after a minute the cool indicator shut off and blows hot air... I done several senarios all resulting in the ac not working after the car cabin temp reaches the 109-110 temp. as soon as the car cools off in covered parking or garage it works perfectly. this happen on the open raod on long drives as well. Any Help here would be greatly appreciated.

Emissionwiz thanks for the quick response... I have no idea what my low side pressure is. We had it serviced and I'm guessing they tested it at the Dealership they say the AC should be fine...1 month later the same problem... once, 2 years ago ,they replace the ignition switch saying there was something in the "ignition switch" that was causing the turning the ac to turn off. back then I put the car in neutral and the ac would kick on again. that trick didn't work this time. the car has to be less than 109-110 cabin temp or the AC doesn't work. I usually could restart the car or put it in neutral and it would kick on now nothing... and if I hold the ac button down it will not stay on the is something telling the ac not to allow it to switch on the car has been babied for 12 years, still only has 87k on it that it and has had all interval maint. done ... this is a stumper for Audi and I'm finding out alot of other people have the same problem. I'm prettry good with mechanics just don't have any special tools for the Audi a6.

Indicates gas pressure and condenser cooling problems
check the condenser fan is working properly and have the gas pressures checked by gauges
check that the evaporator fins are clean and not blocked as ice build up will cause the same indications

Note:
Only a high pressure service valve is used for A/C system servicing. A low pressure service valve is not installed. Perform all A/C system service (ie. discharging, evacuating and charging) through the high pressure service valve only.

I get no heat from my audi A6 1997 car my blower works ,I changed thermostat and radiator still not working.

I had no heat after replacing the water pump on my 96 Audi A6 quattro. After reading the last post, I found a bleeder on one of the hoses going to the heater core. I just turned it and it allowed the air to escape. Then I had heat.

Audi A6 3.0 tdi Quattro 2005, glow plug light comes on, limp mode

16619 -Engine boost condition - Limit not reached. Check intake hoses/ connections for leaks. Check Turbo charger waste gate regulating valve/ waste gate working correctly. Must move freely when accelerating, won't achieve full boost if waste gate sticking open. Check Turbo impeller turning freely, oil feed pipe for turbo can get blocked causing impeller to seize. Engine compact, not easy to access these components.

2001 Audi Quattro 2.7T My car have only 55K miles on it and my transmission is very low to change from 1rst to second for the first ride of the day. After that, no more problem. Do have a sollution or...

Most cars have to reach operating temp before working right, when the heat comes out of the dash, you are at operating temp. Or about 1 mile down the road, before that , you are still running in choke mode, everything is trying to get the engine temp up, including your trans. And it will stay in low gear till it warms up. This is the easy fix, if that is not the problem, then you have a problem with the computer or TCM, Hope this helps.
