Hi David They normaly have the paint code on one of the stickers or plates. Try under the bonnet on rear fire wall are there any black or silver plates. Also check under the rear floor cover at the rear tailgate.Or in your sevice manual they normaly have a sticker with your vin number etc.paint code should also be there. Good luck.
color codes for paint are usually on a sticker somewhere in the vehicle. try looking in the trunk on the spare tire cover or somewhere in the trunk. Thats where I've always found it. There will be a series of letters and numbers. Write them down and visit any automotive store that also sells paint. They will have a book that will list paint codes for different makes and models of cars. Simply find your make, model and year of car and find the code that matches. Sorry I don't remember which set is for paint, but it's usually near the beginnig of the codes on the sticker.
Colour code is normally on a plaque beside the bonnet release mechanism under the bonnet. If there are two plaques one is for the car chassis number (VIN), make + model, the other is for trim specification and colour. Make a complete note of everything and most auto paint shops will pick out the four figure code to look for.
Alternatively, phone up Seat parts department and quote them the VIN chassis number and simply ask them for the paint code, they will have all the details of every car ever made by VAG on their computer records.
hi you should find the paint code along with the vin number etc on the identity plate either situated on the bulk head under the bonnet or on a door post hope this helps but if your not sure make a note of all the numbers and take it to the paint shop they will put you right
Take it to any auto body supply dealer, and they will look it up for you. There will be a paint code sticker on there somewhere, or they can match it with their paint chips.
All Ford vehicles have the paint code located on the drivers side door jamb. Open the door and look on the lower section of the sticker that has the production date and vin number.
