Car shuts down for no reason while driving is there a solution?

There's a button on the lower right on the instrument cluster, start the engine and hold the button down until the tpms light flashes 3 times. It will flash slowly after the third flash wait several minutes with the engne running then shut the engine off wait 1 minute then start the car and check the light. Have the body control module checked with a scanner, I think it may be failing.

Is the check engine light on while you're cranking the engine?

Try getting your transmission solenoid replaced. After I got mine replaced it ran fine after that. That's the exact same thing my Lumina was doing.

Since you've handled the usual suspects, I'd suspect the coil and/or power transistor in the distributor.

What was the code you got,after the sevice soon light came on,and you had the code pulled?

vehicle shuts down while driving down road and does not start backup for at least 20 minutes, could be a bad crank sensor. if bad it will start and run fine, but it will keep shutting down until fixed.

accident? inertia switch can cause this prob. loc? gen near floor up near heater assembly on passenger side. might check dealer parts dept. may help locate. ran into this on cadilac.
