Question about 2002 Acura RSX

Open Question

My remote entry fobs will not program on my 2002 RSX.When I get to the stage where the locks are supposed to make noise, only the hatch lock does; the door locks are silent. The door switches are fine.

The car sat for about 2 months, resulting in a dead battery. This (remote entry) problem resulted after replacing the battery.

Mazda 6 keyless entry

One of the service writer guys at my local Acura dealer came out and programmed my new key fob on my RSX for me for free. Try that at your Mazda dealership. As I recall, I had to have all of the key fobs I planned to use on that car with me at the same time so that they would all get programmed the same. So bring all of yours with you, just in case.

Doors dont lock with secrity fob

The receiver for the fobs is located in the rear hatch, and it needs to be reprogrammed to the fobs. Try the following procedure;

1. Close all the vehicle doors.
2. Insert the ignition key into the ignition lock cylinder.
3. Press and hold the door unlock switch.
4. While holding the door lock switch in the unlock position, cycle
the ignition ON, OFF, ON, OFF.
5. Release the door unlock switch. The doors will lock and unlock to
confirm the program mode.
6. Press and hold the LOCK button and the UNLOCK button
simultaneously on one transmitter. After a delay of approximately 15
seconds, the doors will lock and unlock to confirm the programming of
that transmitter.
7. Repeat the previous step to program up to four transmitters.
8. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position in order to exit the
keyless entry transmitter mode.
9. Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct
system operation.

Is it possible to program a new keyless entry fob for a 2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara?

try this...

1. Make sure vehicle is in Park
2. Press Vehicle Information button (has the icon of a car and an 'i')until 'PRESS *check mark* TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY' displays.
3. Press set/reset button. The message 'REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE' will display.
4. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the transmitter at the same time for about 15 seconds. A beep will sound indicating that the transmitter is matched.

1996 tl keyless entry

Do you have a keyless entry FOB. If you do replace the battery then program the system. Unlock the doors turn the ignition key to the "ON" position then press either the lock or unlock button of the FOB turn the ignition key off.Now turn the ignition key on again and press either button on the FOB. Turn the ignition off again. Do this 3 times. This initiates programming for the power door locks. Press the lock button of each remote one at a time to be stored in memory. this must be done within 10 seconds of each remote.
3 remotes max. Turn the ignition off and remove the key to complete programming procedure. then test each remote.
