Isuzu V6 sparkplug firing order

gee guy, 3.1L or 3.2L?
you only need 3 things to time the distrib. static.
where is #1, its the most forward cylinder, LOOK carefully.
forward means closest to the cam drive end of engine.
not flywheel end.
rotor rotation direction (crank and watch it)
now the order, 3.2l v6? IS It? the single cam?
1990 trooper v6
answering for only USA car...
our 3.2 has no distrib V6 its DIS.

3.1L V6 USA spec. only. rotor is CCW

Loses horsepower,,poor fuel mileage,,coils replaced by private owner but not sure wires on right. changing wires around doesn't better or wosen. got firing order?

firing order is 1 2 3 4 5 6. does it run smooth?? you cant change it even if you want to....Number 6 cylinder coil is longer than the others. Check fuel pressure, ck scan data. there isnt much you can do without a scanner. Was timing belt been done before you bought it?? maybe the cam timing is off???

Need help replacing wires on dist cap 1987 4 cyl Trooper

Firing order is stamped on the block intake manifold or label. 4 cyl are typically 1324

From the web:
The firing order for four cylinder engines where the cylinders are in-line is 1243 or 1342.
Those are the only two possibilities I've ever found for inline four cylinder engines. In practice, it's almost always 1342, except for Ford engines which are 1243.

Take one off at a time and replace it

Do not run the wires parallel (side-by-side) for more than 6". Cross them over each other wavy-like if needed. This will prevent crossfire.

Replace Points, Plugs, Condenser, Rotor and Cap too.

Good luck!
