check for brake fluid level in the reservoir as it may be low and that is why the light is on

replace the distributor kap and rotor.
you can test this.if you have a wife ask for her nailpolich.
do that on the cracks few layers.and try see if error is gone.
if yes replace bolt kap and rotor.
