Hello I have a 2005 Nissian Sentra S it has recently started cutting off while I'm driving . I took the car to Auto Zone where I was given a code of P0335 which was a crank shaft sensor. I replac

Unfortunately, replacing a sensor only fixes the problem about half the time. The code means the computer is not getting a signal from the sensor, not that the sensor has failed.
The problem could be in the wiring, or the part that the sensor gets the signal from.

Car start but in like second it cut off

Just started the car and it cut straight out. It revved up like a normal start but instead of revs dropping to normal it cut out. I decided to try and drive it anyway to top up with petrol as light was on (But not near empty) and when I came to a stop it cut out. On starting it up this time the car revved up to the redline by itself and I had to quickly remove the key. It did this 3 more times then on the fourth start it decided to stay on but rev itself and kept reving between 1 and 2000 revs as seen in the video here I just took: YouTube - Alfa 156 constant reving

When I turn the car off it doesn't just cut out as usual either...now it sort of takes an extra few seconds as seen in this second video I just took: YouTube - Delay in turning off (The key is turned at 7 seconds)

I know the is a hole in my exhaust somewhere because there is alot of hot air coming from the drivers door area and its been like this for a few months now but surely a hole in an exhaust can't cause all this. Any ideas?

1996 ford escort died when i was driving right after i went over a small pot hole and will not start. It was low on gas..could iy be the fuel filter

Ford vehicles are equipped with a fuel pump cut off switch that will shut power to the fuel pump in the event of a collision. By hitting the pothole, there was probably enough "force" making the switch mistakenly shut off the fuel pump. The switch should be located in the trunk either on the left or right side. Locate the switch and press the reset button. If it clicks when pressed, then the switch was activated. Try starting the car. If it starts, then that was the problem. I own a 1997 Ford Escort and the same thing happened to me...the pothole caused enough "force" thereby the switch took it as an impact. I hope this helps you out.

I have an accent 2000 that has a problem with burning crazy amounts of gas I mean a "Crazy Amounts" I took the car into the dealership Hyundai they had the car for 4 days they said the car might have a...

Since the original problem had not been properly diagnosed, and now the cut hose has complicated the issue, it's impossible to troubleshoot/diagnose it here. The solution was to have it properly diagnosed from the start.

Car was running good, took a ride and came home, turned the ignition off and car won't will not start again. What could the problem be? [email protected]

check your inertia switch and press the button on it for a couple of seconds. This part cuts out the fuel pump in collisions and sometimes just the right bump closing the trunk or door will trip it. This part is usually in the trunk on most cars.
