The wiper linkage and blades should be in the neutral position, or where they would normally lie when in the "off" position. Hope this helps. Remember to disconnect the battery while replacing electrical components.
I just completed this task my self, it was not as hard as it looks, disconnect negative battery cable, Jack up the vehicle (Not on the engine cradle) and support with jack stands. Unbolt all the lines and power from compressor, Remove Inner wheel well cover on the passenger side, Remove the serpentine belt. Unbolt front passenger side engine cradle bolt, letting the engine cradle drop in that corner. Remove compressor bolts and remove compressor through the passenger side wheel well. Install in reverse order
2000 chevy venture run good but my lights flickers and have to jump. After I jump the van and put my meeter on the battery its reading 14.volts at idle. I can drive around to store cut the van off come out it starts fine leave it overnite and it don't started.
