Sounds like the parking lights have been turned on. Double check
switch position. If that does not help you probably have a light relay problem or the parking light switch is broken.
Hi, My advice would be to look for a wire going to the distributor then remove the wire that is part of old alarm system, you should only have one wire going to the distributor. Plugs should not be problem as it started at the dealers. Please leave me feed back Malcolm Campbell, [email protected] Thanks.
This would not affect the brake light. Now that you have a new battery, unhook both cables for 15 minutes, then rehook to reset computer. See if this solves the problem with the lights, at least the brake light. If it does, then it can be the alternator unless both lights go out. Then it was a problem at the computer having to be reset.
Hi:
The thermostat is located on the engine, below where the upper radiator hose attaches.
To get at it, you need to make sure the engine is cool, drain your coolant, disconnect the upper radiator hose, then unbolt the bolts from the thermostat housing.
Clean up all parts and use a new gasket to reinstall it..
If there is no original remote try to find a switch that may be hidden but accessible from the drivers seat, if the alarm is no longer needed find an auxilliary wire that may be on the battery or the fuse panel, if original there may be a fuse under the hood, pull the fuse and it should disable the alarn system.
No this is not a fuse issue, more ecu related, once battery is disconnected, ecu's tend to scramble in memory banks, causing lots of problems, try having ecu checked and reprogrammed.
