Car has 67000 miles and runs like a champ, but it was in the garage for two years and battery was replaced twice because dome light was left on. Did battery replacement cause the temperature gauge issues?

Did you find the solution yet? This just happeded to me. But my odometer went out, the blower fan stays on when it rains, and the lights to my shifter, a/c, and stereo are malfunctioning.

The only thing I have noticed additionally is that the temperature gauge needle when the engine is off is hovering at "11:00." When I start the car, the needle swings right to the peg, obviously the wrong side of the gauge. Sometimes the check windshield washer fluid level light stays on, even though the reservoir is full, but this kicks off after five min of driving. All other indicators perform fine. The car was not run for two years and the battery was drained twice, according to my brother. He dropped a new battery into the car, but found out that the dome light had been left on, which also drained the new battery. Eventually he got the car to start, changed the oil and got it smogged and it passed the emissions test. I inherited the car and the temperature indicator gauge issue seems to be the only one left now.
