The most common source of a leak would be the torque converter seal, replacement of the seal requires the removal of the transmission.

If you are talking about the thermo electric cooling fan, its operation is independent of the car's electical system. It is switched on and off by the engine temperature. When you park, the engine heat soaks upward to heat the thermostat turning the fan on. It will run until the engine cools down and the thermostat switches it off.

torque converter housing -- engine, (M10) 26-37 ft/lb (M12) 41-66 ft/lb
Drive plate -- torque converter 30-37 ft/lb
Torque converter housing -- gearbox housing (4 x M-10) 20-31 ft lb
(2 x M-12) 34-50

At a speed above 24mph you should be able to switch the switch on the stalk to the on position and then the momentary switch to the set position.

no the sunroof has it own module it is part of the motor

disconnect the battery for 5 minutes or use a scan tool, the scan tool is prefered method.

check to make sure your the fuel cap is on this is a fuel/ small enissions leak near fuel tank/ it could be the( fuel resonator or evap caniste)
