I have a 2005 toyota tundra v8 4.6 the check engine light comes on stays on a few days then goes off for maby a week or so then comes back on samething happens seems like a chang in weather like from

I would suggest having your mechanic scan the computer for viable trouble codes. WIthout that information, it is hard to determine the exact cause of your problem.
However, my experiences with the Tundra leads me to suggest that you have a bad Mass Air Flow Sensor...A concise scan and any codes would alow us to really help you out a lot better.
check air filter for dirty , how many miles or kms have your car? , maybe need to replace spark plugs, try to reset the ecu for a momentany malfunction, remove the negative battery terminal few minutes and reconnect,start engine and drive, check if lights goes off , please write me
