have you checked fuel injection may have faulty injector, or vacume leak. asuming you have good compression on #1 clynder

helm inc if you can't get them for free

leaking valve or head gasket leaking

Check the injectors for those 2 cylinders.

Most Jeeps are mechanically shifted, not vaccum.

If it is mechanically shifted, simply check your linkage underneath.

That's after you check you front driveshaft and make sure it's working, and there. I've known people to steal em.

If it is vacuum operated, then I'm at a loss.

i dont know if you have checked the vacuum lines underneath the dash but my truck was doing it after i replaced the heater core and i come to find out that it was the vacuum line that comes through the fire wall that was disconnected. after i hooked it back up it started working right again.

looking for vacume diagram under the dashboard for heater and air conditioning controls ...for a 1983 280zx ...having a problem with the floor door actuator and defroster...not getting vacume to the floor door actuator
