Audi a6 bonnet stuck need diagram - 1995 Audi A6

The German manufacturers came up with a great new idea that many others have now copied and that is to eliminate the under bonnet filler tube and dip stick. Some of the German manufacturers have decided to eliminate engine oil dip sticks as well. These people are just so innovative.

Thus you have to use the correct filling procedure as laid down by the manufacturer which involves filling the auto transmission from under the vehicle by removing the filler plug on the side of the auto unit and pumping in the fluid. It used to be so much easier.
Obviously this is best done on a lift/hoist and the vehicle must be level.

Alright it gets complicated...
I'm assuming you have a 4L (2005-2015) model.
It will be in the under bonnet (hood) relay panel.

It can be any two of five relays depending on engine and year!
For petrol engine models up to June 2009 it's relays A1 and A2.
For petrol engine models from June 2009 it's relays A5 and A6.
For diesel engine models (3.0 and 4.2) it's relays A5 and A6.
For diesel engine models (6.0 V12) it's relays A2 and A4.

On some vehicles you simply open the bonnet and there is a "Globe Holder"at the back of the headlight fitting. This will be held in by a clip or by rotating the holder to remove it.
Other vehicles require you to replace the whole sealed beam unit.
Which vehicle you have will be self evident once you have opened the bonnet and looked at the back of the headlight fitting.

Under bonnet on the right side of the car face to windscreen you will find the fuse box / relay plate - engine bay. Here is placed the Data Link Connector (DLC) for Audi A6 Quattro 1997.
