codes, i guess you mean how to use a scan tool?
any modern tool will work on your car, even cheap ones.
use a reals scan tool ,code readers or for kids. (and the blind )
by blind that means,it blinds you (ham strung)

so you picked the most expensive and hard nasty job first.
why do millions do that? for a $20 pressure gauge.

we can fix it, but you never posted symptoms.
here,
open a text file on desktop
then type all the good and bad things it does
cut (Control C) and paste it here.

that way you have a record of problem and guessed parts.
so you can post on any forum and not type it 10 times.

yes , beg /barrow, rent /buy a scan tool
the scan it.
or have any shop do that for free.
if it still can move... does it?
