My 1994 jaguar xjs starts great in the morning. Runs well through out the day but around 2pm it starts to sputter at stops as if it is starving for fuel. Also the oil pressure gage goes to almost red (very low). It up hills I can sometimes feel It wanting to stall but these things only happen after 2 pm. Never in the morning when temp is cool. I changed out the fuel filter which was completely clogged. And It still does the same thing. .. what could be going on. It

it could be trying too vapor lock try losing up the fuel cap if that helps then replace it vent holes are plugged up in it also check the fuel pressure regulator

Try a new distributor cap and rotor button,they are known problem areas.If the problem is not in the distributor then you will likely need to replace the catalytic converter,a plugged converter will not let the engine get to full horse power because it can't get rid of the fuel as fast as it is coming into the engine,which is not a problem for the engine at lower rpms but it is a problem when you need the power.
