Well go get your car fixed by a mechanic or it something might be jammed inside

run fault codes and look for a faulty TCM unit or wires problem .

I have been hearing a possible solution for this problem is changing the oil filter in the trans oil pan. But ive been looking all over for a solutionand thats the only legit one ive found. It said when the oil gets clogged it doesnt flow to the transmission as nicely as normal therefore leading to lagging changes

First signs of the trans going out. rebuild or replace.

if it is a automatic gearbox check the level off the gearbox oil if it is tho low it starts tho shift pritty hard

1. some mazdas had a PCM/TCM update to resolve 1st to 2nd shift shock. the only one who can update the is the dealer. maybe covered under 5 year 100,000kms powertrain warranty.

2, have you ever had the transmission fluid replaced? it could be dirty, burnt, etc.
if it was replaced, maybe it was replace with fluid other than M5 fluid. different fluids have different properties (thickness etc) which could cause serious problems if left.

I would recommend taking it to the dealer for the update and a transmission flush (not a drain and fill) using a flush machine.

Sounds like a transmission modulator. Its on the back of transmission with the vacuum line running to it.
Check to see if you have the vacuum undone or broke on intake or trans
