Hi !! I have a problem with my 2004 Ford Mustang. I was changing the spark plugs and acidentally oil whent down in the cylinder. What can I do to fix that problem ?

Check basic stuff. Compresson first. Compare #5 with the other cylinders. If it's lower, squirt some oil in and check again. If it comes up, rings. If it doesn't come up, valves or perhaps head gasket.

check your compression, you might have low compression in that cylinder-also check your fuel injector in that cylinder, it may be damaged (wiring/connection) or defective.

Hi hope I can help.
1.Fist change the spark plug. this is the main cause of most misfires,
2.If that don't work switch your coils. (remove one of your other coils and switch it with the #3 coil. If the misfire moves to the other cylinder then you know you have a bad coil and it need to be replaced.
3.preform a compression test.
4 Also check your fuel pressure.

Sometimes vehicles from the 1990s that are Ford have a problem with the spark plugs wearing down the electrodes until gas builds up and shoots the spark plug out of its threads when too much gas builds up in a cylinder and it detonates.

Have you changed the spark plug after changing the plug boot and ignition coil?

If the car won't turn over, the battery might be dead or low on charge.

Good luck on this repair.

you need to check compression first,spark plug or replace ign.coil.

check whith scanner for codes,it coul be missfire,it need to be diagnostic

Make sure to Replace the Rings also and they will be Fine unless the Heads are Warped.
