Check you switch, resistor (if so equipped), and wiring for a bad connection, corrosion, or short.

Over heating

One fan comes on when the Coolant sensor reaches a certain temperature, and the other fan comes on when the A/C Compressor is turned On.

You can measure the voltage going to the fan for 12 volts using a Voltmeter. If it isn't getting 12 volts when it is supposed to, check your fan relay (it should click with the fan turns on).

dous battary light come on while driving? if so .could be a faulty voltage regulater in the alternater, or the fan belt could need adjusting! also check your battary connections to see if there clean and tight.

The car overheats with new radiator and when I turn the heater and air on the needle comes back down to50% or normal. The overflow container is also cracked. 1994 Acura Legend

Change the thermostat and bleed the air out of the cooling system, make sure the cooling fans come on,and go off by themselves, with the defrost, and the ac off.

I have a 1995 Acura Legend, air conditioner blower stopped workin

It means the blower fan is not running, look for wires that got knocked off, usually at the motor....

Good news is the AC sounds like it is working correctly, so this repair cost should be smaller. Apply external power to the fan terminal to see if it goes, if it does, problem is upstream, switch, resistors, etc.

But sounds like a fan. Test it. independently from the rest of the car

The ac in my '87 Acura Legend sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. The fan also runs on occasion and not necessarily when the ac is supposed to come on. The system has Climate Control. I've checked and...

Mine wasn't a LS but the freon too low to have the compressor clutch switch on. The R12 cans are expensive if you can find them. On one 87 I changed over to R134 because it was completely empty. The 2nd fan at the radiator should go on when the ac is running, even if the main fan is not.
