Have the fault codes read and look for a purge solenoid/valve ---low fuel pressure at manifold tank cap etc and any fault that restricts the flow of fuel . Also check the cat converter for failure causing blockage in the exhaust.
turn the key to acc with your radeo off and with door open and listen for the fuel pump in the gas tank. it will buzz. if not check all your fuses relays and if there good it could be your fuel pump
your car's fuel filter is located inside the gas tank near the floater.remove the back seat. you can see the fuel pump wires.remove the screws.pull it then you can see the fuel filter.
