How do unlock doors with dead battery on a 2010 dodge journey....little key in fob will turn but won't unlock...help

You need to visit an auto electrician, an alarm installer or an auto locksmith. The key fob needs re-pairing to the locking system.

are keys dead? or just he FOB battery dead????
are you inside the car or outside the car.
we can not see you or what are doing, but... tell that.
guess is , outside car the FOB died as all do , dead battery.
and a $1 fix.
keys do not fail on all doors,(metal keys )no way but yes I did one time at 250,00mile i put on a Nissan. wore the key out. a wreck.

The general consensus here is that the battery in the fob needs changing.

Are you saying the remote key fob is not working? If so is the battery OK in the rwmote FoB

Have it reprogrammed it's only off a little bit

try change the battery in your fob .may be low.

can you manually unlock the lock and open the door?? Is it more than one door or just one specific door? If its just one door, yourcactuator inside the door may be bad or you have a wire issue. If its all the doors, more than likely you blew a fuse or a relay(id say fuse)

I just changed the battery in my fob for 2011 Journey Crew, with the battery removed ( from fob ) I did start my car by pushing the start button whith my fob... so the theory is tested and true.... also the battery you'll need is CR2032 available everywhere... and removing the battery will NOT remove the programming of your fob ( also tested )... so no need to visit the "steelership" Hope this helps....
