Kia sorento wont crank after remote start worked and battary is not dead. Opened hatch and cut off as suppose to but won't crank now with key or remote. Please help

Invest in an aftermarket remote starter. Range will increase to 1500 ft on average. Electronics are much better in them.

should lock and unlock but as to popping the hatch depends on options on vehicle and fob programming some fobs have the open button which would be an option look in owners manual it explains how to use fob

double check timing because they are easy to time 180 degrees gff if engine not at top dead center

Do you have fuel pressure and spark to the plugs ?

Do you mean it won't start, or won't crank.
You should have a neutral safety switch between the key switch and the starter to prevent you from cranking the engine in drive or reverse.
A defective switch would keep the engine from cranking.
A mechanic would check for voltage at the starter on the wire from the key switch and go from there.

you have a wire Conn so were from the switch to the battery

I had the same problem, had the crank sensor replaced and problem went away.

if the valve timing is too far out the problem may be that one of the valves is open when it should'nt be & the piston is hitting it, if you try to keep starting the engine you may cause serious damage to it (if you have'nt already done so),it may be best to get a qualified mechanic to set the timing for you.....hope this helps.....cheers

do you have the key?? if so then its relativly easy without teh key you will have to cut the whole lot off
