Most likely fault due to lack of fuel supply to engine. Make sure there is fuel in the tank. Check fuse for fuel pump relay, check fuel pump relay clicks when switched on. Check power is going to fuel pump (voltmeter is easiest). Check fuel pump is running (listen to pump).

BMW 316 I DOES NOT WANT TO START

Does it not crank over? If it it cranks and does not start, disconnect the air flow meter which should put the vehicle into "service" mode and if the airflow meter is the cause of the "no start",it should start.

Ford edge wont start codes ,p0351,p0352,p0354,p0316

You may need a mechanic for this one.
The first three codes are for coil problems on cylinders 1-2-4.
Code 316 is for a cylinder miss on startup which would follow along with the other codes.
Someone would need to test the coils and the circuits that power them.
It is unlikely all three have failed, but rather something with the computer or the crank or cam sensors.

Engine Code PO 300 and PO 316 came up when running diagnostic

P0300 is random multiple cylinder misfire and P0316 is misfires detected on start up. This is an ignition related issue. I would check the ignition system and tune up condition and proceed from there also if you have access to a sanner with live data capability check that you have and RPM reading when cranking the engine and the times it deosnt want to start this would indicate an issue with the crank sensor

2003 Mercedes-benz Sprinter cdi 316 cuts out and doesn't start

Hi, My thoughts exactly ( fuel leak). Is this a deisel or gas engine?
In both cases be very careful with lights or cigarettes.
You can smell it when you get out of car in a garage or stall.
Good luck.

Im getting codes 171, 174, 300, 316 from an OBD II for my 2005 Ford Taurus. What could be causing these?

171 system to lean bank one, 174 to lean bank 2, 300 multiple miss fire,316 crank sensor defective. Does it run rough? Replace crank sensor first.
