With the battery light on, it is leading me to think alternator not charging the battery. If you can get it started and running, take it to Autozone and have them test your battery and alternator (free test, they bring the machine into the parking lot to your vehicle). Hope this helps.

    If you've had to get a jump start or disconnected your battery, it takes the computer awhile to relearn it's idle speed-thus giving you a high idle. Drive on the freeway about 20 minutes and in stop and go traffic for another 10 to reset the parameters. This might aide in your high idle speed.

My car had a tune up change plus not wires and its making a missing sound

a tune up consist of plugs,filters,wires, cap, oil, grease , brake inspection, trans filter,. this is funny. this guy asked me to look at his truck as he had a tune up on it and it ran for three days and quit, so i went to check it out, wouldnt start. after inspecting i noticed plug area looked as if they were as old as the milage 160,000. took 15 minutes to get one plug out, the electrode was burnt off completely, yet it had a tune up. cap and wires!! If you do a tune up it has to be complete or its not worth doing any of it,

Oil sensor light comes on randomly when rpm's reach 200, even after i replaced the sensor and got oil change...what else could be wrong?

Check the "GROUND WIRE(S)" I would inspect all wires that you or your oil changer may moved during the oil change and senosor change.

===

Use a de-greager spary to clean out the wiring harness one day before the job,

let the wire harness dry over night.

Next day,have a friend to do the "200 rpm" reving in a outdoor open air area.
Move and inspect wire for "GROUNING" to the metal frame.

Most likely to be near or around the motor mount.

Keep moving the wiring harness until you able to pinpoint the trouble spot.

====
Since you had a 1987,plastic connector(s) can be worn or no able to make a secure connection.

Use PB Blaster to clean all sensor tab(s) and connector(s).

I will email you a picture of PB Blaster later.

Do you best to check out these connetors.

2000 Blazer Cranks, Won't Start

First of all, a diagnostic wont tell them that there is arcing involved. I am thinking it is your crank sensor. It expands and retracts in different weather situations.It should make contact in all weather situations.

Keeps blowing ECM1 fuse

The first thing you should do is to locate the oil pressure switch/sending unit.

This switch serves two functions.

1) provide oil pressure reading

2) disable the fuel pump relay in event of oil pressure loss.

===

When this switch is failing to provide the correct pressure to the ECU. The wiring harness can overheat and eventually create a short.

ECM1 fuse blow is because the harness is grounding/shorting.

===

DO NOT drive the truck until you change the oil pressure switch.

After you change the switch,you should spend sometime to inspect the wiring between the fuel pump relay,ECU and fuel pump.

Please post up day on the comment window/page.

I will follow up on it later.
